Butterfly Table Tennis Bats

Every bat here comes with the rubber already fitted, so there's no gluing required. Butterfly's range spans two genuinely different tiers: affordable, ready-to-play bats for beginners and club players (RDJ, Addoy, Wakaba, the Timo Boll starter series) and pro-spec combos that pair the same signature blades from our Butterfly blades range with Butterfly's top rubbers, for players who know exactly what setup they want without building it themselves. Building your own from scratch instead? Start with a blade and rubber.

Buying guide

A Butterfly bat arrives ready to play, rubber already bonded to the blade, so there's no separate gluing step. The range covers two genuinely different shoppers under one collection. Comparing brands first? See the full table tennis bats range.

Entry and club Butterfly bats

The RDJ, Addoy, Wakaba and Timo Boll starter series (1000/2000) are built as accessible, ready-to-play bats for beginners, juniors and social or club play, alongside the Nakama S-series and Stayer for players stepping up a level. A few, like the RDJ, also come bundled with a case as a starter set. For families or friends starting out together, the RDJ 2 Player and 4 Player Sets bundle several control-focused bats in one box, a straightforward way to get more than one beginner playing at once.

Pro-spec blade and rubber combos

At the other end of the range, Butterfly pre-fits its signature pro blades (Viscaria, Timo Boll ALC, Fan Zhendong, Apolonia ZLC, Mizutani Jun and more) with its top competition rubbers, including Tenergy 05 and the Dignics range. It's the same setup a serious player would build from the blade and rubber ranges separately, already assembled by Butterfly to a matched spec.

The pro-spec combos use the same named blades (Viscaria, Timo Boll ALC, Fan Zhendong and others) already paired with rubber, so you're getting the identical blade either way.
