A bat cover, a bat wallet and a bat case all describe the same thing, a protective sleeve or box for a racket. These are covers for the bat, not for the table.
Soft covers, hard cases and double bat wallets
Soft covers and wallets are light and slim, so they slip into a bag and protect against dust and knocks. Hard cases give the rubber and edges more protection if the bat gets thrown around in transit or you carry it every day. Double wallets hold two bats, which suits players who keep a spare or carry one for a partner. If your bat has thick attacking rubber, check that a slim cover still closes cleanly over it, or go for a fuller case.
