BTY Adsorptive Film III

The Butterfly Adsorptive Film III is a protective sheet designed to keep your table tennis rubber clean, dust-free, and in top condition when not in use. By applying this film directly to your rubber surface, you’ll prevent dirt accumulation and slow the deterioration that can happen over time with regular play.

This single-sheet protective film uses an adsorptive (rather than adhesive) attachment method, meaning it sticks through gentle suction without leaving residue. It’s reusable across multiple applications, making it a practical maintenance choice for players who want to extend their rubber’s lifespan.

How to apply:

1. Clean your rubber thoroughly with a rubber cleaner and allow it to dry completely.
2. Peel the Adsorptive Film III from the separator paper. Slowly and carefully attach it to your rubber, working from one corner to avoid trapping air. The film has a dull adsorptive side that sticks to rubber and a protective side that faces outward.
3. If you trim excess film that overhangs your blade, the film will become harder to remove later.
4. When you’re ready to use the racket again, peel the film off and store it on the non-cautionary side of the separator paper to maintain its reusability.

Care and storage:

• Use only on table tennis rubber surfaces.
• Avoid rubbing the adsorptive surface with fingers or paper, as this reduces effectiveness.
• Keep away from direct heat, flame, and bright sunlight; store in a cool, dry location.
• Do not bend or fold the film.
• The film’s colour may shift slightly depending on rubber material, how long it’s been applied, and storage conditions.
• If adhesion weakens over time, gently wipe it with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with water, then air dry before reuse.
• Adhesion strength depends on rubber type, usage period, and storage conditions.
• If any skin irritation occurs during use, stop immediately.
• Keep out of reach of children.
