The Ilius B is Butterfly’s latest long pimple rubber, combining a hard Absorber Sponge Drop with a precision-engineered top sheet designed for control and variation close to the table. The sponge is engineered to absorb energy from hard impacts while keeping the ball low, giving you stability without sacrificing the unique characteristics that make long pips effective for defensive and attacking play.

The top sheet features pimples shaped at the highest limits allowed by ITTF rules—thin and tall to maximise the long-pip effect. This design excels at chop blocks, short strokes, and blocking, whilst the hard sponge lets you produce low, penetrating shots with minimal spin. Durability has been significantly improved compared to earlier long pimple models, so the rubber maintains its performance through regular use.
