It’s a blade suited to the modern defensive player as well as those who like to construct their game using strategi, patience, and sharp precision. Thanks to the soft outer veneer, you’ll have full control of spin, tempo, and placement. The design, consisting of five carefully selected layers of veneer, gives this blade a unique balance between responsiveness and stability, and the updates increase both performance and the visual expression of the blade.
We’ve developed this blade in close collaboration with Masato Shiono, who is known for his brilliant defensive technique. It’s a design that’s meant to help you put pressure on your opponent with deep backspin followed by precise counterattacks.
The Cybershape model has an optimized impact surface, especially in the upper part of the blade. This means more room for adjustment and precision in each shot. The unique design also communicates clear feedback to your hand when the blade comes in contact with the ball, so you experience improved feel in play, cleaner ball impact, and a stronger connection between you and your shot.
